Indisputable advice

Jeff van Gundy, before the Celtics/Lakers game, about the Celtics:

Their biggest job isn’t to be ready to play; they have to be ready to win.

With insight like that, it’s shocking that the Knicks performed so dismally when he was their coach.

I wonder if anyone has ever live-blogged a sporting event by ignoring the game itself, and just documenting the inane things that come out of commentators mouths. It could make for pretty entertaining reading.
